|
Is CruiseReport.com a booking engine?
|
|
No. Your clients cannot book a cruise through CruiseReport.com. In fact, we
believe that when a consumer books online as opposed to over the phone with a
professional, a huge opportunity is lost. The greatest value that a travel
agency offers is personal service. If a consumer is going to book online, there
is no advantage to booking online with your web site over going directly to the
cruise line's web site. Our technology leads the consumer through the shopping
process to the point where they request a quote on their desired vacation. The
quote request is then emailed to your agency for follow-up and booking.

What is the difference between an "anonymous" and a "linked" visitor?
|
|
An anonymous visitor to CruiseReport.com is one who arrives at
CruiseReport.com without having first clicked a link through an Affiliate web
site. For example, a consumer may find CruiseReport.com through a search engine
like Google or Yahoo, then click thru to the CruiseReport.com web site.
Anonymous visitors have access to the CruiseReport.com Travel Agent locator and
can use that resource to locate a CruiseReport.com member agency with which to do business.
A "linked" visitor is one who arrives at CruiseReport.com by clicking an
Affiliate link (e.g. a link on your web site to CruiseReport.com). These
visitors do not have access to the Travel Agent Locator. Linked visitors will
see the Affiliate agency name and information in the header of every page on
CruiseReport.com.

How does CruiseReport.com help me sell more cruises?
|
More and more consumers are using the Internet to shop for their cruise
vacation.
Surveys have shown that:
- Consumers rely upon the opinions and views of other cruise passengers to
assist them in making their cruise purchase decision.
- Consumers spend more time on web sites that have compelling and current
content.
- The longer you keep a consumer on YOUR web site (or tied to your agency
brand), the less chance there is that they will click off to another agency web
site.
- Consumers enjoy the ability to compare cruise vacations side-by-side.
CruiseReport.com answers all of these by providing exclusive and unique
content for your web site.
