This was our second Carnival cruise with our college-age kids. There were enough activities to keep everyone busy and happy. If you are a returning guest, you get some "freebies" including a gold pass, invitations to parties, etc.

Carnival Conquest
With interiors inspired by French Impressionist painters, the exciting new Carnival Conquest represents the Conquest class of Fun Ships. The ship's revolutionary design means that 80 percent of the staterooms offer glorious ocean views; and of those, 80 percent have private balconies.

Wake up to a sunny new day with an energizing workout in the state-of-the-art gym. Or go for an invigorating run on the outdoor jogging track. Ask the ship's personal trainers to plan an exercise program for you. Or skip the workout and hit the deck. With acres of teak deck space, you'll find the ideal spot to enjoy the fresh sea air and soothing sunshine. You can also relax in the spa with a massage, steam, or beauty treatment. And kids are sure to love the fun atmosphere of the award-winning Camp Carnival program.

After a full day of fun, enjoy an elegant meal in the Monet and Renoir dining rooms or relax with a casual dinner in Restaurant Cezanne. You many even want to celebrate a special night out in the intimate Point Supper Club. As part of the spa program, the ship also offers dishes that are low in calories, fat, sodium, and cholesterol.

For nighttime entertainment, the Carnival Conquest brings a bit of Vegas to the sea in the casino and in the theatre. Or visit the 22 bars and lounges throughout the ship, including the sing-along Blues Piano Bar, the jazzy Latour Wine Bar, and the sports fan's favorite, Gaugin's. Dancers will love the club Henri's, where music plays into the wee hours.

Carnival Conquest March 22
Mar 2009
This was our second cruise. I've written this mainly for anyone planning a first cruise vacation.
First Cruise
Oct 2007
Fabulous.
Texans BEWARE, Carn. Conquest!
Feb 2007
Cruised five previous times out of Galveston. (One previous time on another Carnival ship). I am used to cruising w/98% Texans and Southern hospitality from other passengers! Not on the Carnival Conquest! Southerners were a minority on this cruise, with VERY RUDE, INCONSIDERATE and just plain ignorant passengers. I have never in my life been in one place with so many intolerable people congregated in one place! I thought it had to have been "I'm a rude idiot with no consideration for other passengers, so I cruise free" week! If you are accustomed to cruising out of Galveston and normally travelling with a majority of polite and considerate passengers, TAKE WARNING: DO NOT choose Carnival's Conquest unless you want to be pushed on, walked on, or run over by a herd of elephants acting like if they aren't the first ones to get to the elevator, there won't be another one, or if they are not the first to arrive to the dining room - they won't eat.

Wonderful First Cruise!
Oct 2006
This was a wonderful first cruise experience. The ship is huge and beautiful. Lots to see and do on board if you want.
Best Cruise Yet
Feb 2006
In summary, we had a wonderful time on board the Conquest and would sail on her again. Plenty of rest, relaxation, entertainment, and lots of good food to eat. Hats off to the Captain and his great staff. Thanks for a grand experience.
WOW!
Nov 2005
Excellent Staff! Very clean ship, great food, and the balcony was the way to go.
Conquest Nightmare
Oct 2005
Overall: I had a horrible time on the Carnival Conquest, majority due to the rude staff on the ship. I will not recommend anyone to go on this ship due to the nightmare that we experienced. I would not want anyone to have to argue with staff members during their vacation since we all know how hard it is to set up a vacation. I also talked with numerous people on the ship and about 2/3 of the people had a bad to terrible cruise.
Cruise from Hell!
Jul 2005
If you are really on a budget and like crowds, this ship is for you!
Jamaica Shopping Caution
Jun 2005
Average food at best, shopping in Jamaica was a disaster. Carnival Buyer's Guarantee is a farce. Will absolutely be our last Carnival Cruise.
Carnival No More
Apr 2005
NO more Carnival! BAD FOOD, SERVICE, ATTITUDES, ETC..
Our last cruise on Carnival
Jan 2005
I wrote 2 letters to Carnival and made 2 phone calls. They offered us $50.00 off our next cruise. I told them to keep it- there won't be a next cruise with Carnival.
Not Carnival
Aug 2003
Because this was our first cruise, perhaps we did not know what to expect, but we were extremely disappointed.
Conquest 8/10/03 - Terrific
Aug 2003
Overall, it was a very relaxing and enjoyable cruise. The ship is beautiful and well designed.
Dont like Conquest? Stay home!
Jun 2003
If you enjoy cruising the Caribbean on a beautiful new ship, like the options a bit larger ship can offer, enjoy good food and service with nightly entertainment and think the best part of a cruise is walking on board and the worst part is leaving--then the Conquest is a great cruise on a great ship!
Our Fabulous Carnival Cruise!
Jun 2003
We have been on 2 cruises, and the Conquest was the best! The atmosphere was great, there was more to do then we could ever have time for, and the staff really catered to our every wish! It was truly a dream vacation!
Slow Start, Great Ship
Mar 2003
The Conquest is a very large ship that is well organized and comfortable. I recommend the ship and cruise to everyone.
Entertainment
Mar 2003
The experience was wonderful and the entertainment... this is to you Marcus Anthony, Superb!
Conquest Nov 21
Nov 2002
Beautiful ship, dining experience in the formal dining room was not as good as RCCL’s in our opinion but the variety and quality of food on the Lido deck was excellent.
Carnival Conquest
Nov 2002
I would recommend this ship. Especially if it is the first cruise and one did not have another one to compare it with. I really do hate to be so petty about the service and their mistakes. It is much better than you would get at any hotel. I am sure in time, they will have most of the bugs worked out.
