First of all, I want to preface this long review by stating that our group had a great time with the people that we went with. The combination of bad service and bad food has definitely left a sour taste for us and this will definitely be our last cruise for a very long time. At the end of the trip, we were very happy that our experience on the Diamond Princess had finally ended. It was by far the worst experience we've ever had on any cruise, or vacation, for that matter. We have never received such bad service, most of the employees (if not all) had little to no regard to what the customer wants. |

I would cruise on this ship again if it was available for my destination but I think I really prefer a smaller ship like the Dawn. |

So many problems with the cruise made it a total disappointment - from the deplorable food served, to the lack of organization upon arrival to and departure from the ports of call - Princess cruise never again. |

Wonderful in every respect. Delicious food, superb wines at bargain prices (Opus 1 for $155/bottle), magnificent decor & ambiance, extremely professional staff highly trained and motivated. We will do this cruise again soon! |

If you want a very large ship--then this might be your ship. We prefer the smaller ships. However, if the ports were good and the price right, we would go on the Diamond again. |

My first cruise was lost due to a major accident with no reimbursement. 2nd cruise was lost due to itinerary not being honored. Cruise line shows no flexibility to customers. |

Princess did not, at all, show good customer care or concern. They seem very "cut rate" to us, as well as nearly all other passengers we spoke to on the ship. After you have sailed with Holland America, you will definitely be disappointed with a "cut rate" like Princess. |
