Overall, this was one of our most interesting cruises. We were lucky and had perfect weather. We made every port and had no real problems onboard the ship. This is our 15th cruise. This is the 7th with Princess. It seems that quality of food is definitely not what it used to be. However, we never starve and you always have the ability of ordering something different if you are unhappy. Dining staff is very accomodating. Our cabin attendant was a very sweet girl from the Philippnes. Not sure if she is new, but had to be reminded to vacuum the carpet when it was obvious dirty, replace a towel. Nothing major though and she was quick to take care of problems. In general, Cafe del Sol was a little disappointing as far as cleaning tables off fast enough and adequately.

Great experience, good staff overall, and a wealth of activities made up for the mediocre food. We loved the balcony room while going through the Panama Canal.

I don't have a lot of experience in cruising but I had fun and relaxed which was the point. I may go with Princess again but I think I'll try out a couple other lines first.

Regal Princess cruise

After one day aboard the Regal Princess, we considered leaving the ship at our first port of call and flying home. Everything that could be bad, was - food, service, attitude of all of the staff.

Great trip down under. You don't have to take the tours. Each city has a very good tourist info center and public transportation is excellent. A great ship. Mediocre food. Poor entertainment. It's not the tropics.
