This was my husband and my ninth cruise and the first for our adult children and their spouses. We had lots of comparisons but they loved it. |

The cruise reinforced my expectation that I'm not a "cruise person" but I don't think it was a fault of the Grand Princess and her crew. There were problems but, overall, the boat was clean, the staff very accommodating, the activities plentiful and the food abundant and of good quality. The problem is that the whole experience, while fun, offers little that is memorable. So, after a couple of days it's like you're under house arrest in a combination hotel/mall/school fair. Best quality: the staff. Worst: the fact that you are constantly being bombarded with requests to spend more. |

First and last cruise with Princess. Staff was terrible and they constantly nickel and dime you to death. "Movies Under the Stars" was a huge disappointment. |

Took this cruise to see what Princess was like. Also wanted to see what it would be like to drive to the port (Galveston) instead of flying to Florida for a Caribbean cruise. |

Nothing Grand about the Grand Princess...poor customer service in every aspect of the trip beginning with lost luggage issues for a couple traveling overseas for their wedding of a lifetime. |

Once we got on the ship,, all was fine, but embarkation in Galveston is totally unorganized. The pier is not big enough to handle 3 ships leaving at same time. |

We loved this cruise. Great value, Great Service, Food, Entertainment and Activities and plenty of ports to go see and shop. Loved the Spa, and felt pampered by our room attendant. Highly Recommended. |

This cruise put Princess lines in our "must do again" category. I can only pray that Carnival doesn't get their hands on this wonderful cruise line and ruin it. |

This was our second cruise on board the Grand Princess and it will not be our last! The beauty of this ship recalled us like the fabled sirens of old. We were on board for her first birthday party May 4, 1999 and for her third anniversary this year. |

I was surprised at home much I enjoyed the Grand, as I thought it would be too big. The many entertainment/dining options really are a huge plus, and I never felt crowded despite the many other passengers aboard. |
