First Cruise and Alaska	Jul 2007
This was my first cruise and I depended on a friend's travel consultant who I had never worked with before. What a super trip - I'm so glad I did it!

An exemplary cruise experience unless something untoward happens. Because of unsatisfactory security measures, cruise ship passengers are more vulnerable to criminal acts—theft, assault, rape and worse--than passengers ought to be. As a ‘foreign” corporation, Princess Cruises is subject to far less accountability to law enforcement agencies than would be the case, if it were a “domestic” corporation. As I learned, Princess Cruises will only cooperate when it is legally compelled and not a moment earlier.

I loved this cruise. I can nitpick about things here and there, when the food was bad, etc., but I would go back in a minute if I could!

THIS CRUISE WAS LIKE A SMALL TOWN IN THE MIDWEST. COMFORTABLE BUT CLOSED AFTER 10. IF YOU SIMPLY LIKE CRUISING, BEING ABOARD SHIP, THIS ONE IS FOR YOU!

We truly enjoyed the Sun Princess. We loved everything about it, except for the bed. The food was very good but not as good as the Sapphire Princess, the buffet was so- so, but then again most buffets are so-so anywhere you go. But we thought the staff was good, not quite as friendly as Sapphire, the ship was clean and always something to do. Needs more washers and dryers. Best of all - even though it is so huge, you still are not walking all over people. It was so restful that we came home and now are planning for a cruise next year. We would take the cruise again though without a problem.

Wonderful itinerary, great service and food. Our favorite cruise so far. Panama Canal was much more beautiful than we had imagined. Cartagena was very interesting and safe. We were somewhat anxious about this port because of what we had heard....all unfounded. We would recommend this port and the whole itinerary to anyone.
